Am Samstag fand in Glendale die Verleihung der 33. Annual Annie Awards statt.
Einen sensationellen Erfolg konnte hierbei der Film "Wallace & Gromit auf der Jagd nach dem Riesenkaninchen" einfahren. In 10 Kategorien nominiert schafften es die beiden Knet-Helden, in allen nominierten Kategorien die Auszeichnungen fuer sich zu gewinnen! Darunter befanden sich die Preise für den besten Film, die beste Regie und das beste Drehbuch.
Doch auch Greatys Oscar-Favorit ging nicht ganz leer aus Der Ub Iwerks Award, mit dem herausragende technische Leistungen ausgezeichnet werden, ging an Tim Burton's Corpse Bride - Hochzeit mit einer Leiche.
